If you want to connect every device in your network to connect thru VPN, edit your router and set a static IP address on the VPNKITTEN.
In this example a UniFi USG Router is used. Basically, every router could be used if the gateway/router address in the DHCP settings could be edited.
Press the blue bar.
Then press DHCP at the bottom.
Press Edit to go to the IP-adress settings
Set DHCP Configuration to Static.
Don’t save yet!
If your de default gateway is: 10.0.12.1, set the IP address to a free IP in the same subnet. Make sure it is not in use by another device. In this example 10.0.11.254 is set.
Note: Make sure the subnet is right. If it’s not in the same subnet the VPN Kitten is inaccessible !!
Press save
As you can see the VPN Gateway address is now static 10.0.11.254
Note: your subnet is probably different (192.168.1.X or 192.168.178.X or whatever..)
Go to your router network settings.
Set DHCP Gateway address manual to VPNKITTEN, in the example 10.0.11.254
Note: Offcourse set the ip to your VPNKITTEN ipaddress!
